Couples

Couples

Couples therapy can facilitate the opportunity for you and your partner to discuss and resolve issues related to several aspects of your relationship. We will typically schedule five therapy sessions and will evaluate to see if goals are being met or re-conceptualized. In the first session, the therapist will help you identify developmental goals with your family and you as a couple.

Families

Families

Family therapy is a form of treatment designed to address specific issues affecting the health and functioning of a family. Family therapy can be used to help a family through a difficult period, a major transition, or mental or behavioral health problems in family members.  A therapist will guide clients in setting goals as a family. If the court or its representatives (e.g., Special Master, 790 Evaluator, Reunification Specialist) specify goals or set dates of service, we will follow them and, when possible, conduct therapy at a mutually agreed time. Once goals are established, we will work towards meeting and evaluating the outcome.
